Wulfenite      Helena, near Schwartenback, Mezica, Slovenia.  Ex. Carolyn Les collection.  This rare example is composed of large, to 2.5 cm on edge, translucent orange crystals.  They have a very strange surface texture and some are unusual in shape (perhaps they are healed surfaces that create this appearance).  The specimen is in very good condition with a couple small contacts and some minor repair work on the back.  Old Sorbonne label.  This is an outstanding old European specimen.  $400
