Tremolite on Calcite      Gouverneur, St. Lawrence County, New York.  Collected by Garrett Martin, summer 2019.  This example measures 3.5 x 1.1 x 1 cm.  It has moderate good transparency (much of which is masked by striations and prism surface imperfections), nice overall form, and has the typical poorly formed, crude, terminations.  No damage.  It is a matrix piece that shows numerous tiny tremolites near the base of the large crystal.  $125
