Tourmaline (Dravite with Fluoruvite cores)     The Historic Hilltop Site, Powers Farm, Pierrepont, St. Lawrence County, New York.  Collected by Michael Walter, August 27, 2015.  6.2 x 3.5 x 1.4 cm plate of crystals.  A very fine specimen with no damage and all surfaces once damaged, now healed.  Very high luster compared to most.  Only one tiny section on end shows massive tourmaline with no crystallization.  One large crystal is hoppered, or skeletal in form.  This characteristic is very uncommon in these tourmalines.  Excellent example.  $200
