Titanite    Tory Hill, Ontario, Canada.  Ex. Jay Walter collection.  Collected by Michael Walter.  This is one of the very fine examples from this one time find made in the 1990s.  The piece measures 4.7 x 4 x 2.4 cm and is composed of two crystals, the largest one twinned, in calcite matrix.  Excellent form, especially the twin, good luster, and in fine condition. There is a thin flange missing on the back of the twin but this isn't visible from the front and not distracting when viewed from the back.  A fine and unusual specimen.  $150
