Dr. Steve Chamberlain collection.  A single black spinel of very sharp form.  The specimen measures 3.3 x 3 x 2.9 cm overall and is nearly damage-free showing only one micro abrasion on one termination.  This huge single crystal measuring 2.5 cm on edge, in embedded in massive forsterite.  A very aesthetic example that I would rank as the finest I have seen from this location.  It does just fit into a perky box.  $395
