Sphalerite and Galena      Madan Ore Field, Rhodope Mountains, Smolyan Oblast, Bulgaria.  Sharp sphalerites yellow to deep red with most being darker in color.  The majority form in balls of crystals which are very aesthetic and flashy.  Only a few galena and quartz and they are low luster.  8 x 6 x 3.4 cm and no damage.  Back is crystallized by quartz and small galenas but is not very attractive.  $40
