Sphalerite and Calcite     Dundas Quarry, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.  The piece seen here is an exceptional miniature sized specimen of this material that measures 4.6 x 3.8 x 3 cm.  The crystals of both sphalerite and calcite are very nice and rest on the perfect amount of natural dolostone.  It is a floater.  On close inspection the backside shows a small calcite and a small sphalerite that are cleaved (which is the only damage).  A top notch piece for this location.  $200
