Sphalerite    Level 3,970, New Fold, Empire State Mine, Balmat, St. Lawrence County, New York.  Collected 2022.  This is the fine material first seen from this area in 2019.  Large gemmy crystals to over 2 cm each compose this cluster that measures 3.6 x 3.1 x 1.7 cm.  Great transparency shows internal cores of red in center of the cluster.  There is a tiny compression mark on side of large crystal’s termination as seen in the photos otherwise in excellent condition.  $550
