Sphalerite    Level 3,970, New Fold, Empire State Mine, Balmat, St. Lawrence County, New York.  Collected 2022.  This is the fine material first seen from this area in 2019.  Large gemmy crystals to over 1.4 cm each compose this cluster that measures 3.6 x 3.1 x 1.73.5 x 2.7 x 2.4 cm.  Great transparency and display characteristics.  No damage.  Flat areas on bas and a side are from contact from calcite crystals.  Outstanding example of this coveted material.  $400
