Sphalerite      Niagara Quarry, Niagara Falls, New York.  Ex. Michael Walter collection.  I have always been extremely picky with NY State minerals so this TN sized sphalerite is very nice.  It is composed of two crystals, one being obviously twinned, and measures 2.1 x 1.8 x 1.4 cm.  Great clarity and luster to this attractive specimen and certainly exceptional of the location.  Zero damage.  A rare fine in a competition grade thumbnail sized specimen.  $295
