Smithsonite, Quartz, Mimetite      Tsumeb Mine, Tsumeb, Otjikoto Region, Namibia, South West Africa.  Ex. Thomas G. Fowler collection.   Lots of variety on this tall tapering stack of crystals.  The smithsonite is clear but appears black due to the underlying matrix.  Minor mimetite will have to be looked for to notice and liberal quartz crystals.  I’m not seeing any damage to the piece.  6.6 x 4.6 x 2.5 cm with individual crystals to 1.2 cm each.   $250
