Cobaltoan Smithsonite       Tsumeb Mine, Tsumeb, Otjikoto Region, Namibia, South West Africa.  Ex. Thomas G. Fowler collection.  This specimen is composed of a druse of smithsonites over tennantite  stalactites.  The form looks tree like and only shows contact on the base and one area on the back.  The coating is very translucent to transparent, high in luster and gives the piece a nice aesthetic look.  No damage.  6 x 5.1 x 3 cm.
