Scapolite with minor attachments of Diopside, Calcite, and Titanite    Northwestern Diggings (Purple Diopside Mound), Rose Road Wollastonite Occurrence, Pitcairn, St. Lawrence County, New York. Collected by Michael Walter, April, 2013. Very fluorescent, bright yellow in short and long wave UV light.  This example is a stocky single crystal measuring 7 x 6 x 4.5 cm. It is doubly-terminated but only slightly so, with the second end having matrix contact. One edge has matrix of titanite, calcite, and purple diopside. It sits on end and an aesthetic angle. Minor calcite. This is a superb specimen for this important discovery. $190
