Rutile on Pyrophyllite       Graves Mountain, Lincoln County, Georgia.  Ex. Paul and Dawne Dunning collection.  This piece has a single, very sharp, translucent, metallic red, crystal of rutile measuring 1.3 cm.  All visible faces are lustrous and only one edge shows very minor fraying!  The specimen is 2.9 x 2.2 x 1 cm overall.  The pyrophyllite is also attractive, in nice sprays, forming the matrix of the piece.  $45
