Rutile     Champion mine, Laure, Inyo County, California.  Ex. Nancy Collins collection.  This section of matrix measures 7.5 x 6.5 cm and averages approximately 3 cm thick embedded within its surface are several rutile crystals to 2 cm each.  They are of exceptionally high luster and damage-free.  These specimens rival those of the famous Graves Mt. in Georgia and show more tints of red.  A very good specimen for this unusual rutile locale.  $150
