Rhodochrosite    N’Chwaning Mine, Kalahari Manganese Fields, North Cape Prov., South Africa.  This attractive thumbnail sized specimen measures 3.2 x 1.6 x 1.4 cm and is currently mounted in a perky box.   I see two point cleaves near one end with magnification, but overall the condition is very good.  An attractive example with cherry red color and excellent transparency to its crystals.  $1,100
