Quartz (variety Herkimer Diamond)     Crystal Grove Mine, Lassellsville (Oppenheim), Fulton County, New York. Collected by Michael Walter. A nice specimen that stands on edge showing off a single large 2.1 x 2 x 1.4 cm diamond. It has a small inclusion of anthraxolite and a spot on its reverse side where it was in contact with matrix. S can be seen in the close-up image, th3 crystal has been repaired.   An aesthetic piece that displays smartly. $45
