Quartz and Calcite     Lowville, Lewis County, New York.  Recovered summer 2011.  A thumbnail sized specimen measuring 4 x 2.7 x 1.7 cm.  Excellent form, luster, and damage free front with clear and reddish calcites on phantom quartz.  Black hydrocarbon on surface, as well.  Very fine crystal group.  $275, on sale for $220
