Quartz and Tremolite as inclusions Valentine Mine, Harrisville, Lewis County, New York. Ex. Jay Walter collection. This is an attractive example of "harlequin" quartz. It measures 9.8 x 7 x 5 cm and is composed of singly and doubly-terminated points with many attractive phantoms. Pseudo-cubic form to the crystals is noticeable on each termination (only three faces showing at 90 degree angles). Fibrous tremolite inclusions visible in some crystals. There are a couple broken points but they are not distracting. A very nice piece. $140
