Quartz     “Crystal Cave Pocket”, Dunquin, Dingle County, Kerry, Ireland.  Collected by William and John Lawson, September 2003.  These alpine quality quartz crystals come from an unusual metamorphic environment in a country that seldom produces collector grade specimens in more modern times.  This one measures 6.5 x 5.3 x 2.8 cm and is composed of crystals to 4 cm.  It is a damage-free near floater having only thin edge contacts on one small area.  Views great from any side and is even crystallized on edges and back.  It actually appears to be two generations of crystals.  $140
