Pyrite pseudo. after Pyrrhotite with Quartz and Rhodochrosite     El Potosi, Santa Eulalia, Chihuahua, Mexico. There is an impressive mix of showy minerals in this very displayable pseudomorph. The primary crystal is a large pyrrhotite which has been encrusted by well formed pyrite crystals. On this are botyoidal growths of rhodochrosite (their red color being mostly masked by quartz overgrowths).  There are other pseudos on this piece but the largest is 5 cm long, 3 cm wide and 1.5 cm thick. The quartz is clear to white and very nice with the largest crystals being scepters to 1.8 cm. There is another metallic minerals and small groups of a cream colored mineral, as well, which might be muscovite. No damage that I can find.  Very aesthetic. 10.5 x 6 x 6 cm.    325$
