Pyrite on Calcite   Level 3,970, New Fold, Empire State Mine, Balmat, St. Lawrence County, New York.  Collected 2022.  This piece is composed of small brassy pyrite crystals (pyritohedrons) on clear/ milky calcite crystals.  The specimen is damage-free and shows well from any direction.  It sits nicely on the backside contact and measures in at a respectable 10.2 x 5 x 4.5 cm in size.  $45
