OKD-509 Pyrite Huanzala, Peru. Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain Collection. Several big, high luster octahedrons of pyrite which are intergrown and sit up high on the all pyrite matrix. What makes this piece special is quite obvious…the modifications to these octahedrons are very unusual. I thought I was fairly decent at knowing my crystallography but this one has me baffled. No damage to the main crystals but there is peripheral contact from other crystals. 6.5 x 6 x 3 cm with crystals to a cm. Interesting surface features on a few faces. Very unusual and interesting.    $212
