Phlogopite      Rose Road Wollastonite Occurrence, Pitcairn, New York.  Collected by Michael Walter, summer 2012.  Here is the largest grouping I have available.  It measures 10 x 6 x 5 cm.  The individual crystals are up to 3 cm each.  The crystal are well developed and doubly- terminated.  They have ragged edges but still exhibit their rough hexagonal form.  Good luster and shape typical of the large crystals from this unusual find.  Fluorescent.  This is the only specimen on the matrix rock from the area.  It is the second best example from the locality.  Sorry, but it takes a lousy photograph.  $385
