Millerite Friedrich Mine, Wissen, Sigerland, Germany. Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain collection, prev. George and Marion Springs. Oh my! This thing is nothing short of impressive for a millerite. Thick stocky crystals to .8 cm long is thick nests on matrix. The piece measures 2.5 x 2.8 x 1.5 cm overall and is exhibiting nice crystals on all sides. I’ve inspected this closely with 10x and believe it to be damage-free with any crystals that were once matrix connected to have healed or been overgrown by other millerites or micro quartz. Great form, luster, and aesthetics. This is another one of those classic specimens which I believe is nearly or entirely impossible to fine in today’s market. Yes, expensive, but I believe it will be a real treasure for the discerning TN collector. $765
