Manganocalcite on Quartz    Pachapaqui, Peru.  Ex.  Nancy Collins collection.  The small cabinet specimen seen in the photos measures 6.5 x 5 x 4.3 cm.  Medium pink manganocalcites formed domes on top of lustrous quartz.  A fine display piece of good luster and form.  The mound of manganocalcite appears to have formed a blocky mold over what might have been anhydrite or gypsum.  Zero damage.  $135
