Malachite with Azurite Milpillas Mine, Cuitaca, Mun. de Santa Cruz, Sonora, Mexico. 2013 Pocket. Of all the material produced in this important find I believe this pocket has produced the finest quality of specimens discovered at Milpillas. The luster and rich blue color is the finest known for azurite, only surpassed by the great material from Tsumeb and perhaps some of the finest Moroccan specimens. I was able to hand pick these and was thrilled at their quality and the price. These are among the nicest azurite specimen I have offered in many years. Without argument these will soon become modern day classics. This is a nice piece with large azurite pseudos by malachite. Front has matrix rock and small bright azurites of good form and the typical vibrant "electric" blue color. There are contact areas but the main crystallized areas front and back are in good condition. 6.7 x 4.4 x 3.5 cm. $175
