Cubic Magnetite with Anhydrite      2,500’ Level, Z.C.A. Mine, Balmat, St. Lawrence County, New York. Ex. New York State Museum. 7.5 x 5.5 x 4 cm with crystals to 1.7 cm on edge. A big, high luster cube with modifications sitting up high off of the crystallized magnetite and anhydrite matrix. Big cube is very nice from front, minor crystal contacts on back.
