Magnetite and Sphalerite    2,500’ Level, Z.C.A. Mine, Balmat, St. Lawrence County, New York. Ex. New York State Museum. 8.4 x 5.5 x 5.2 cm with crystals to 1.1 cm on edge. A very fine example with rare cubes of excellent luster and other minerals including anhydrite, small clear and raspberry colored sphalerite, and what appears to be baryte. Only one small spot of damage near one edge, and of course, along the broken edges where removed.  Some crystal modifications (texahexahedral and octahedral) Excellent condition overall.     $275
