Magnetite and Other species     2,500 foot Level of the Zinc Corporation of America Mine, Balmat, St. Lawrence, County, New York.  Ex. Chuck Bowman, Z.C.A. miner and collector of these specimens.  Rare, well documented, and important material that is unique to the mineralogical world.  It also ranks among the best known for the species.  This example is composed of very high luster, simple cubes with talc/anhydrite/sphalerite mixes filling in between many crystals on the front and less so on the back.  Of course, that depends on which side you will call the "front" because both are excellent.  8.8 x 7.4 x 4.4 cm.  Very minor chipping to a couple cubes on edges only so the piece is in excellent condition, sits well, and displays great.  This is a real value for one of these.  $250
