Graphite with Calcite       Rossie Township, St. Lawrence County, New York.  Collected by Michael Walter, June-July, 2018.  The graphite crystal seen here is silver/gray in color, exceptionally clean and it shows the typical rounded form.  It shows clearly the well-developed, reticulated patterning on one side and only slightly so on the other.  The piece is a single crystal that measures 3.3 x 2.1 x .7 cm.  As can be seen the crystal has some residual calcite stuck to one surface (I'd call this the front because the reticulated patter is finest on this side).      $750
