Galena, Sphalerite, and Pyrite    Tri-State Region.  Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain.  This is a wonderful old piece with octahedral galenas to 2 cm on edge and sphalerites to 1.5 cm in diameter.  All the species stand up in very high relief on the quartz coated limestone matrix.  This piece is 8.7 x 6 x 4 cm.  Excellent luster on the sphalerite and pyrite and classic patina on the galena.  Minor contact on back of specimen along the massive sphalerite region.   $150
