Fluorite    Yongchung County, Quanzhou, Fujian Province, China.  These outstanding fluorites have recently made a big appearance on the mineral market under the descriptor, “tanzanite fluorite” due to their amazing bluish purple color.  The crystals form in a dodecahedral/ cube combination form that is very attractive and they are normally totally transparent!  This plate of crystals is 7.1 x 5.6 x 2.7 cm.  It is a matrix specimen with small (to just over a cm each), sharp lustrous crystals.  This beautiful, damage-free specimen is even in the right price range.  $200
