Fluorite    T & G Prospect, Grant County, New Mexico.  Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain collection. This piece is a bit unusual in that it is far clearer than the normal specimens. It is a small domical plate of crystals measuring 4 x 3 x 1.7 cm in total. The octahedral crystals are up to 1.3 cm on edge.  Green and purple fluorite matrix.  Nice color, form, and unusually transparent for this material.  These specimens were recently described in a Mineralogical Record article by Phil Simmons.  $95
