Fluor-uvite     Bush Farm, Gouverneur, New York.  Collected by Michael Walter, 2003.  This is a very impressive tourmaline for this locality.  It is better than most because of its high luster, double termination, its on matrix, and its condition is outstanding.  The piece measures 5 x 4.6 x 3.5 cm and the crystal is 2.8 cm long.  The crystal has the typical orange/brown color, is seen in high relief, is fluorescent, and is damage-free.  Currently it is mounted in a perky box.   You can collect for years at this locality and not encounter a crystal of this quality.  $250
