Ferroaxinite with Actinolite      New Melones Dam spillway, Calaveras County, California.  Transparent, gemmy axinites to 1.3 cm each forming a plate of damage free crystals measuring 2.7 x 1 x 1 cm.  Among these fine crystals are needles of fibrous actinolite to approx.. a cm each.  This is somewhat rare for the site with these actinolites coming from only a single vein ant the locale.  Mounted in a perky box.  Excellent condition, luster, form and color for the location.  $140
