Dioptase and Smithsonite on Calcite Tsumeb Mine, Tsumeb, Otjikoto Region, Namibia, South West Africa. Ex. Thomas G. Fowler collection. A nice showy cabinet specimen measuring 8 x 6 x 3.2 cm. The bright green dioptase crystal cover much of the display face. They are small, lustrous, transparent and vibrant. There is a druse of bright smithsonite crystals in areas. The white spot on the edge is only damaged spot and on first glance really looks like a coating… it is only with magnification that I could tell this was a damaged spot. $600
