Diopside with Albite (variety Antiperthite)    Rose Road Occurrence, Pitcairn, St. Lawrence County, New York.  Collected by Michael Walter, Summer 2006.  This is an outstanding small specimens that measures 4.6 x 3 x 2.6 cm.  The diopsides are gemmy in areas, a very rich green color, and nicely formed (not heavily morphed or pitted as most are).  No damage with the exception of a ground off or contact area on the tip of one crystal.  Diopsides of this quality are not often offered for sale.    $260
