Copper Keweenaw Peninsula, Michigan. Ex. Harold L. Dibble collection. This branching network of copper crystals is composed of nicely formed crystals to 1.6 cm in length. The piece measures 7.6 x 5.2 x 3.8 cm. It is an aesthetic grouping with no points of attachment. There are two distinct generations of crystals with the first being larger, and in many cases, exceptionally well-formed. Many of these crystals are exceedingly complex. The color ranges from a deep, classic copper patina to somewhat brighter areas. No damage. Really fine example of North American copper. $500
