Chalcopyrite on Sphalerite     Joplin, Missouri.  Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain collection, circ. 1963.  Big translucent crystals of sphalerite to over 4 cm each having small but sharp tetrahedrons of Chalcopyrite coating most surfaces of them.  The chalcos are growing in epitaxy which make the piece interesting as well as attractive.  Base contact and part of one edge.  No damage.  7.5 x 5.5 x 4.7 cm.    $75
