Celestine and Calcite   Chittenango Falls, Madison County, New York.  Ex. John Davis collection.  This piece is 5.8 x 3.8 x 3.6 cm and displays translucent blue celestine crystals to 1.4 cm each on druses of tan calcite crystals.  There are minor edge contacts, as seen with the main crystals being free of damage.  The piece sits and displays nicely.  This locality is now a protected park so it is only found in examples from older collections such as this one.  $65
