Calcite with Chalcopyrite Sweetwater Mine, Reynolds County, Missouri. Ex. Thomas Fowler collection. This is a beautiful, three-dimensional cabinet sized piece with damage-free crystals to 3.3 cm. Almost all the crystals are double terminated and terminated with numerous modifications. The piece is a floater and the only mark on the thing is a small cleave/contact on the crystal that is on the base of the specimen. 9 x 8 x 5.8 cm. The calcite crystals are transparent with moderate internal clouding and seen in two generations... very tiny ones all over the matrix, and the larger, more obvious ones. The luster is great! The chalcopyrite has a patina that I have not altered. Super Iron out would make these brassy and flashy, but many collectors do not want that so it remains as you see it (for now). This is a truly beautiful specimen of common material in very uncommon quality. The piece is appropriately priced at  $450
