Dafoe Property, Vein #1, Pierrepont, St. Lawrence County, New York.  Collected by Michael Walter, June 2019.  This piece is not large, 5.2 x 4.3 x 3 cm, but it has amazing character.  The allanite and hematite inclusions give the quartz a nice red coloration.  Patched of fibrous allanite crystals coat some areas of the calcite's surfaces and are unusually easy to clearly observe.  The hematite inclusions in the calcites give these crystals an attractive look.  One of the nicest small specimens from the find.  $280.
