Calcite in Merccnaria permagna    Rocks’ Pit, Okeechobee County, Florida.  This complete clam shows a large “see-through” window filled with transparent yellow calcite crystals.  It measures 9 x 7.4 x 4 cm.  Almost spotless with only one crystal showing a tiny, difficult to notice, cleave (this could be backside as both sides display well).  One of the nicest features of the piece is that it d stands on edge nicely.  Very stable without any form of base.  $250
