Calcite and Quartz    Roncari Quarry (Tilcon Quarry), Granby, Hartford County, Connecticut.  This fine example with large calcites to over 5 cm is actually the termination of a stalactite.  It measures 9 x 6.6 x 4.6 cm.  The calcites are nice with stepped growth, selective face phantoms, and other inclusions.  The termination of the stalactite shows a healed contact.  One tiny quartz is broken off.  Three-dimensional piece that views beautifully from any direction.  $350
