Pyrite Stalactites in Calcite.  St. Johnsville Quarry, St. Johnsville, New York.  This is an uncommon speciemen from a closed quarry known mostly for Herkimer diamonds.  It measures 4.5 x 3.6 x 2.6 cm and is composed of a calcite rhomb with several partial pyrite stalactites and a pyrite plate embedded in it.  You normally only see pyrite stalactites with these crystals and the Herks measuring a few millimeters.  You won't have to squint to see these!  $175
