Calcite and Heulandite    Paterson, Passaic Co., New Jersey.  Ex Dr. Steve Chamberlain collection this fine doubly terminated calcite measures 7 cm in length and is very gemmy.  It's backside has a slight encrustation of heulandite crystals and other tiny calcites.  There is a gap in the calcite where there was once contact with some unknown crystal.  This contact area has healed and it is as lustrous as the best primary faces.  Damage free.  $50
