Calcite    3,981 Level, Empire State Mine, Balmat, St. Lawrence County, New York.  September of 2022.  This crystal corner is translucent and exhibits a light pink coloration typical of many specimens from this find.  The white area is an accessory mineral (likely tremolite) in a ball of white micro needles.  Most surfaces on the piece are lightly healed, not fresh cleavages, and the piece is free of damage.  The base has one small area of fresh contact in the form of a cleave.  $145
