Calcite   Level 3,990, Ruby Ridge, Empire State Mine, Balmat, St. Lawrence County, New York.  Collected 2023.  This piece is composed of well defined, interlocking crystals, some being Rossie habit twins, and measures 5.4 x 4.4 x 2.8 cm.  It is damage-free and the transparency of the crystals is very good.  The display face is coated by small crystals, many of which stand up in high relief.  It is a nice example of the material if you don’t mind the crystals being smaller than normal.  $40
