Morganite Sao Geraldo de Baixio, Minas Gerais, Brazil. This specimen is what remains of a stocky beryl crystal that has been extensively etched. The piece is a single crystal that still retains much of its hexagonal crystal shape.  It is a light peach color and is a gemmy floater measuring 7.5 x 5.5 x 3.5 cm. There are no points of contact.  Some sections of the faces remain free of etching and have mirror-like lusters.  The entire piece exhibits an outstandingly high luster.  There are no dirty, dull, or problematic areas on the entire piece.  A prize for anyone who enjoys etched crystals. No damage and sits nicely on its edge for display. I find it pretty much impossible to get a good photo of this specimen.  It is much finer in person!  A very impressive morganite for the price offered.   $575
